okay guys please help, have a 2002 rsx type s with exhaust and intake and coilovers. so I have engine light on, codes are p300, p301,p303. the steering wheel shakes really bad in idle at times but sometimes not at all. The engine light goes away sometimes and comes back at times. car runs really strong though. checked for burnt valves they were all good, spark plugs are also knew. is it fuel injectors? or a o2 sensor maybe from scraping? Im thinking it has to be a loose connection since it goes away at times. please help in need of it. shop said it was head gasket everyone else told me no way that's not it shops trying to rip me off. what can it be?

 

Truthfully something like this is going to be impossible to diagnose over the internet without looking at it and doing some testing...

Could be anything from a bad O2 yes, a bad headgasket yes, ignition coils, spark plugs, injectors, bad gas.. etc...

You need to start doing some checking yourself. You said "you think it could be a loose connection" did you try looking before writing that in the thread or just guess then wrote this post? Go out there and check

I'm assuming you do not have kpro? Cause you could always start swapping parts from cylinder 1&3 to 2&4 and see if the code changes.

How long as this been going on?
