we'll i just wrecked my crx yesterday ( i rear ended someone) and as i was beginning my repairs, i noticed that the radiator and tranny cooler were both bent inwards. I was wondering if you even need the tranny cooler? I have seen most crx's with just the radiator or an aftermarket one. so could i just junk my messed up radiator and tranny cooler, and get a fluidlyne or koyo? also are any other radiators compatible with crx's? like maybe one off a gsr?
please excuse my ignorance, and im sorry if this question has ever been asked before i did use search.

if you have an auto trans you need a tranny cooler

EDIT: you are an *******.. your first bump should not include any anger.. such as "Damn tranny cooler"

so with that in mind.. take the bent tranny cooler.. and smash it into your head and think.. it came with a tranny cooler.. so it probably needs a tranny cooler.
maybe you should be asking if you need a radiator.. ******

I've never even seen a tranny cooler on a 5spd CRX before - do you have pics? I don't have one on mine, so I don't think you need one on yours.

seems like the previous owner either convert the car from auto to stick or added an oil cooler to keep the oil cool.

either or..it's good to have oil cooler, but do you really need it? nope..not unless you road race or rev your car real high for long period of time.

and uh..ask quetion, but don't get all pissy about it. Nobody owes you money here...no need for name calling people.

usually when you get a radiator, like an oem replacement one, they usually have the tranny cooler, it cost less to just make one model, i've seen alot of 5spd cars with tranny coolers, but theyre just plugged off.
