Post serialz_1 First Gen CR-V

Bought my CR-V about a month ago. It's a 2000 with 200k miles.

I bought some Accord 98-02 Form and Function type 1's and a rear camber kit. (message me if you have questions on this)

Some wheels from craigslist and a couple wind deflectors and this is now it sits now.

It's not perfect but it hauls my family and my Ruckus nice. (I'm updating my Ruckus page I'll get some pics of the Ruckus in it soon)
Future plans are to get JDM bumpers, paint it darker gold and fix some of the rust. I'm known around my city for having gold Honda's with black wheels. It's kind of my thing. lol

Did the rear struts just swap right in or did it take some convincing? Do the fronts even fit?

Looks good. Makes me want to lower my CRV again, but I sold my suspension today.

looks great! it's getting harder to find 1st gens with no rust. Here in the northeast, they're beginning to get the typical honda cancer

I had to switch out the tops on all 4. The bottoms of the rear needed ground down a bit but that was all. Fronts fit fine. I had to grind down the inner fender well so the upper control arms didn't get stuck.

yeah curious about the deflector as well. and i kind of like the roof deflector thats deflecting air around nothing, how much was that thing? haha.

so did you hold out to find a gold one? i dont see many, i assume only the later year ex came gold. never seen a gold lx anywhere. i know if i decide to grab another i am holding out for white but will also cave for blue. and would probably settle for green.

it is AVS. I love it. I wanted one with mounting hardware, so I bought one that said it came with mounting hardware........ well, it came with double sided tape. I figured people use it all the time so I used it, and couldn't be happier.

Soooooo should i put my bags and luggage on the roof for my pictures?!?! DERRRRRR!!! lol. If i must explain, my wife's family lives 2 hours away, we go there weekly, we have 2 kids and a big dog, bags go on top. I also don't take the wind deflector off every week. It was like $70 I think.
I was holding out for a black, gold, or white one. Man there are green ones everywhere around here. That's all I was finding for the longest time.

Love the gold 2001 SE's with black leather, but they are always automatic around my area, is that common? Never seen a manual one...hmmm
