97 Integra electric problems
OK. I just swapped in my new motor few weeks ago. I finished plugging all the harness in from interior to engine bay. I put in the batter to test out the electric such as lights, dash, and etc.
The problem is, when the battery are on without key in the ignition. The dashboard lights, brake light, clock, and fan are spinning non stop happening. it's not suppose to be on without key in the ignition. I've checked the fuse, the ground, and harness from a to z.
What could be the problem from having everything on without key in the ignition?! Am i missing something here?!?! I've been struggling for two days now. I just don't get it.
Anybody can help me out?!

The ign. system is powering up due to crossed wiring, somewhere in the wiring a 12V+ constant power lead is making contact with the cars 12V+ switched ign. circuit, black/yellow and "back-feeding" power from the 12V+ constant circuit to the 12V+ switched circuit.
I would start by unplugging the ign. switch and see if there is a change.
Anything aftermarket wired in, like alarm, turbo timer or remote start?
If so disconnect and see if it makes a differance. 94

my 94 dc2 came with a funky remote that requires me to turn ignition on, hold {1} on the remote and then the car will start, otherwise similar issue. But to me if nothing aftermarket electrically is installed, i'd say a relay is acting up, or the harness your using is rigged and looped somewhere... kind of a shot in the dark, as that is crazy.. i think fcm is giving you good advice for starting the diag process.
