My H series
So Im new to the whole forum thing but I am needing help. I just bought a 1992 5 speed honda accord coupe to replace my O1' Jetta. Now I bought it from an old lady so it in AMAZING Shape with 160,000 miles on it with a completely stock SOHC 2.2L F22.
Now I really wanna slowly fix this car up to be a quick one, but im having trouble finding used aftermarket parts. I Dont want to swap for another engine because I rarely see F22's fixed up all nice and fast, theyre different and I want mine to be different. I dont like the run of the mill civic because everyone has one, or a crx. Anyways I heard someone say I could put H series parts on my F series motor, is that true? And if it is what should I do to see some gains. I am already thinking of Cold air, exhaust, headers....Please keep in mind that I cannot buy a 700 dollor turbo right now, and that im a college student, not a millionaire.

There are quite a few aftermarket parts for the SOHC F22 as well. Maybe not as many used aftermarket parts around though. Most people tend to keep the aftermarket stuff and sell the OEM stuff....
Check out www.CB7tuner.com, it is a site dedicated to the 90-93 CB Accord. There is a lot of information on how to make your F22A* faster on a budget. H23 and F22A6 parts are what you will find that you need to look for. Good luck
