What would you do with this DC2? Fix or part out. Turbo inside
That wheel setup is horrible looking to go along with that rough body..
Is the motor built at all, or is it a stock setup hoping for lots of boost?
I'd try to put the car back to stock and part what you can out if you'll make money.

The car was low when I went to get it with the trailer, so it wouldnt clear my dove tail so i raised it up. Its on one piece coil overs so thats not exactly an issue.
Previous owner was told the motor was built, but he didnt list it bc he didnt do the build or have receipts. It does have dual springs and titanium retainers and the head has no bronzing.
The body just sucks, I can clean it up alot but im still on the fence about it.

So did it have some crazy camber to fit those wheels?
I guess you could drop the pan to see if it at least has forged rods?
Don't think anyone would put cast pistons on them.. Right? hahah
Always more people that want stock cars over heavily modified though.

no it wasnt crazy, has camber kits and stuff but nothing weird. it just looks funny bc its lifted all the way up.
Yeah, Im going to borescope the motor and see whats inside, if its forged ill pop the head off and get a good look and re gasket it. (cant hurt)
And yes I agree, this will probly end up being parted out mid sept when I get back from the desert.

So it just needs a new wastegate ? or a whole new manifold ?. Ya it's rough but if it was mine i'd ensure it was in good shape(engine) then i'd gut/strip it ! looks like **** anyways so why not go all the way idk what it's supposed to make but i'm sure you could see 300+ if it's not all ready making that. or part it out there's some nice things on that.

But yeah, the body kills it and its goofy looking, but as you said its got a lot of parts on it.
I think it has spacers on it, gotta take a wheel off. the back tires are brand new tho lol.

If you have a reliable DD and this is a "for fun" car i'd lower it again gut then get a proper tune. OR there's always the part out route if you want something better looking/functional looks like it would be fun tho !

Yeah, I have a 2013 Titan Pro 4x as a dd. This was one of those spur of the moment things. I threw a diff manifold on it, and it runs and drives fine now. I have been thinking about gutting it. throwing a cage in it and having it as a weekend car lol. The wife would love that.

If there is no rust on the body, I would fix it up.
Also no fan of the wheels.
I would start by straightening out the intercooler, looks goofy. 94

Yeah, but where to draw the line and be done. Itll probly end up being parted out.
who needs parts.
It looks like a decent set up. It doesnt look like he cut corners on the engine. I would definitely get some new wheels and maybe a macco paint job and your set.
