Icon2 Gas pedal not sensitive 97 civic

When i press on the gas to lightly the gas pedal wont move and wont rev but when i press it a little bit more it goes to far and revs too high, is there a way i can lubricate some thing so the gas pedal wont be so stiff?

Shouldn't need to lubricate, but maybe adjust. You can adjust at the gas pedal or adjust the throttle cable. As with do anything yourself, check to make sure you will do it correctly.

But if I am understanding correctly, you barely press in the gas and it's like it is flooring it?
That is something a tight or loose throttle cable wouldn't do, Maybe the Throttle Position Sensor is faulty?

Clean your throttle body and throttle plate. Also check and readjust your throttle cable if needed.
