how the hell do you get the cruise control panel off the steering wheel?
how the hell do you get the cruise control panel off the steering wheel? so i can get to the "torkz" bolt on the airbag.
Hmm, I'd like to know too cause my Cruise is useless now with the H22. I can save 1lb and gain .5 seconds in the 1/4 mile.
I thought that every 100 pounds you remove off your car your 1/4 improves by a .1 second. So how does 1 pound save .5 seconds off your 1/4

every 100 pounds is "ruffly" .1 off your 1/4 time so 1 pound doesnt shave ****.
LOL 1lb=-0.5 second
I removed my back seats = running 9 seconds?
damn it, you flamed him before i did.

...not many helpful answers, so I will see what I can do....
there are several screws on the underside of the steering wheel (phillips head) remove them. Once this is done, You will have to pull on the cruise control panel, it will be kind hard to do, so you may have to put some force in it. use a back and forth, or twisting motion, once it is off, your all set.
Most of all the screws have to come off anyways in order to get the wheel off ( I am assuming this is what you are trying to do) Also, remember to disable your airbag by disconnecting your battery. I hope this helps, if not, get ahold of me on AIM.
