Off topic: So it's been three years since I've been on the boards :O And sadly I feel I have fallen behind in the Honda world.

Anyways, my friend has a 2007 2 door EX and the passenger window is sketchy about going up. The driver side functioned fine but the driver control of the passenger window did absolutely nothing and the passenger control for passenger window functioned down, just not up. Checked all fuses good (of course since down works but why not right), but not sure where the relay is...don't have a manual for this model.

I took the panel off to check all the wiring. Pulled both accessible plugs to look at pins. When I plugged everything back up, it works! The way the switch harness connection is set up looks like a two piece construction and not very sturdy so I'm assuming it's a loose connection at certain angles.

QUESTION TO THE BOARD: Has anyone run into this problem and have/found a mod fix?

I was thinking maybe put a rubber gasket, with holes cut for the pins, in the connection point of the switch to fill any gap when the female connector plugs in so it can't wobble around. Don't really feel like depinning. Any other thoughts/concerns/suggestions?

 

use hot glue to hold it in, haha.
but in the heat it might get soft.
