wiring and window issues.
i have a 93 teg gs and my drivers window switches suddenly stopped working. I first thought it may be water int he switch or dirt so I cleaned the switches. I then noticed that the lock switch for the passenger window control still works. it is just the drivers door window controls for the passenger and driver windows. I then changed the switches and it still didnt work.
I thought it may be a fuse but when i roll the passenger window down with the passenger controls it works.
i noticed a month ago that when i tired to raise the passenger window up with the drivers door controls that my stereo would sometimes turn off and loose sound to the speakers. Call it crazy but it happened.
if its not a faulty switch then where is the next spot i should look at.
also where does the ground wire that comes from the back of the deck go to?

im just not sure if it could be the wires. if it was the wires wouldnt the child window lock switch not work. does the window relay control the passenger window switches too?
you should try to find a wiring diagram and bypass the switch to see if you can get the windows to function. also find the ground wire and test for continuity between where it goes into the switch and the chassis. also do the same for the power wire. if u have continuity in both and bypassing the switch works i would do a voltage drop or resistance test seeing as how it still doesnt work even with the second switch u put in it.
