I'm selling my year 2000 Honda S2000 in New Formula Red for $8,100. Many of its 146,XXX miles are from my long work commutes on the highway. This vehicle has NEVER been over revved under my ownership... since 69,000 miles! Past owners included a middle aged woman who just liked a convertible to cruise in, and supposedly an older woman who was a relative of a Honda dealership owner. Although I can't vouch for that it seems like the car had an uneventful early life.

While the vehicle's appearance is pretty "weathered", I've spent a lot of effort keeping all mechanics maintained. Differential fluid, transmission fluid, brake fluid, clutch hydraulic fluid, brake pads/rotors, tires, and oil all changed regularly. Clutch, pressure plate, and throw out bearing were all replaced with OEM Honda parts in May 2011 at approximately 115,000 miles. The original clutch had lasted that long! Timing chain tensioner replaced at about 98,000 miles as precaution. Last valve adjustment performed at approximately 125,000 miles. Replaced an ignition coil pack at approximately 140,000 miles. Both rear calipers and brake pad sets were replaced last week. Mechanically the car is excellent. This S2000 drives and feels absolutely awesome; for this reason I hate to be getting rid of it, but I need something with a roof and more practicality.
The car has the following blemishes...
tears in soft top and plastic window (I have very ugly patchwork done to keep water out, but hopefully you're classier than me so buy one of those Haartz soft tops with glass for $425)
rust on lower rockers near rear wheels
scratches, scrapes, and dings
clearcoat peeling off the hood
Please only inquire if you have the ability to purchase this car within the next week. Alternatively, I am open to even trades or cash going in either direction depending on vehicle. Private message me on this forum to contact.

Does this have coilovers or maybe Skunk2 springs? No way that is stock springs. Also, the AP1 wheels are painted black, not powdercoated. I have black gloss powdercoated AP1 rims on my 02, it's a huge difference. If you painted them, you should not have painted over the Honda emblem center cap, keeping it stock actually makes it look really good! As terrible of shape this S2K is, as far as S2K's go, this is on the very bottom bottom end in price. Someone looking to build up a S2K,paint it, put a carbon fiber hardtop on, do an all motor F24 Inline PRO build to push 260-270whp out of the motor, this would be the perfect car to get. Believe it or not, other S2K's in this price range are much worse lol. Good luck bro!
