2000 Honda S2000 PRICE DROP $11,000!!!!
Putting my 2000 Honda S2000 up for sale. The car is located in San Diego, CA. It has 90k miles on it and I bought it with 56k on it. I've babied the crap out of the car since I've owned it and it runs excellent. The reason for selling is that I'm going into a Police Academy in a few months and I need something with more room. The car is in great condition. There is one small rip in the carpet from the heel on a pair of dress shoes I used to wear. The top is in fair condition with a new plastic window but who drives with the top up anyway! For the buyer of the car I will also throw in Brand new OEM brake pads and some Meguiars Plastix. Asking $11,000 OBO
History & Maintenance
- Bought the car with 56k miles on it, 90k miles on it now.
- Had a Comptech Supercharger on it for about 6k miles but took it off because there was no point in having it since I never drive the car hard
- Replaced the OEM clutch with a Competition Clutch Stage 2 so if you want to boost the car it's good to go (Put it on 15k miles ago)
- Replaced a rear wheel bearing around 57k miles
- Valves adjusted about 5k miles ago
- Replaced battery at 81k miles
- Diff and transmission fluid changed every 10k miles
- Oil changes done with Royal Purple every 3k miles
- Replaced the plastic window in the soft top June of 2008
- VIS Carbon fiber hood wet sanded and clear coated May of 2008, has light scratches where hood meets bumper. Can be fixed if you were to paint match it
- Replaced all 4 coil packs August 2009
- New OEM spark splugs August 2009
Mods
- ASA AR1 17x7F, 17x8R Black w/ Machined lip wheels w/ Yokohama s.Drive tires
- VIS Carbon Fiber Hood (OEM style)
- K&N FIPK Air Intake (CARB Legal)
- Invidia Q300 70mm Dual Exhaust
- Swift Sport springs and AP2 shocks (less than 10k miles on these)
- Competition Clutch Stage 2
- Walbro 255lph fuel pump
- OEM Trunk Lid and Side Strakes
- OEM Windscreen
- Black Honda emblems and Black chrome S2000 emblems
- Hardtopguy Latches (reduces a lot of wind noise)
- Pioneer head unit w/ AUX, Integrated iPod, and USB
- Pioneer rear speakers, door speakers, and tweeters
- Pioneer amp
Thanks for looking.

That's why there is OBO after the price ;-) Also it's not like I had some crazy 500whp Turbo setup on the car. It was a Comptech Supercharger kit which is considered the most reliable FI for this car. People have ran that kit for 100,000+ miles and had no issues, I had it on my car for 6k miles. If you have this kit installed by a Honda certified mechanic they even let you keep your warranty if that helps you understand how safe that kit is.

I'd do some research before making a statement like that. A good place to start is the FI section of s2ki.com. As far as the health of the motor I welcome any interested buyer to do a compression test or leakdown test.

I dropped it a little bit but just because I have my eye on a car that I want to buy and the sooner the better.
