Default New to Honda-Tech

Hello there! I'm the proud owner if a crappy Honda with a lot if potential.! I bought this car about two months back and it was all fine and dandy till about a month ago. On the drive back from Spokane where I bought it, it overheated..... Found out that the fan wasn't even going so I hard wired it to the battery and have to plug it in every time I drive it. On a hot day it'll idle about 400-700. Minor a master mechanic bu I know that's no good! I ran ou if gas on the highway one day, and the car didn't start after so I had to get it towed home. I cleaned the injectors put new spark plug in and a new oil change and it started right up. But now I'm getting another problem. It's bogging out. Well that's hat hat I deduced it down too. Sometimes when I'm driving I can push the accelerator all the way down and it just loses power. I can hold it like that until the engine just dies. But if I just push it enough it'll still go. So I changed my fuel filter and it helped a little but it still Boggs out when I slam on it. The guy I bought it from said it had a performance ECU but I have no idea how to tell as I'm still a newbie to Hondas. Could m car just need a tune up?? It hanks for reading and any help would be much appreciated.

Ditch the ecu for a stock version. Also, the pedal/bogging issue is common with map/tps issues.

Thank you! I was told that before but fI I'm not mistaken the tps has to be removed by a professional mechanic because of the way it's put on? And I was also too it might be a distributor issue. Could that be true?
