Good call but wouldn't that likely have been the case the moment he out on the new dizzy?

When you say you lost all power, I immediately thought alternator. At least you have your old dizzy setup to try first to see if that is the case.

Haven't touched the plug wire order since I hooked It up 3 weeks ago, that being said I got the car going. the stupid rotor screw came loose I've had that issue before in my old dizzy. so i'm probably going to get a new rotor and continue to use the knock off dizzy. as my spare one needs an igniter and the internal o-ring replaced.

That's what i would say, until my coworker told me this same exact story, and i immediately thought the alternator as well! But he told me his firing order wasn't right and finally fried his distributor after so long..
