Default Sending more power to HID ballasts a good idea?

Hey guys, looking for a way to keep the power to my HID's on my fog lights. When I crank the key to start my 06 Chevy Silverado, the fog lights will flicker while starting, this is damaging to the fog bulbs. Currently it's on the relay that's supplied with the kit i bought..

My question is: If I purchase a higher amperage relay and run slightly larger wiring, will this keep more supplied voltage/amperage to the relay and ballasts?
