93 Civic AC enaging/disengaging quickly
Hello,
I have a 93 civic. swapped the ac with a 95 civic 6 months ago and everything was ok until recently. The parts I used were all new except for the compressor and the hoses which I took from another 95 civic.
Sometimes, when I turn on the AC, it works for a few minutes, then the compressor starts disengaging and engaging quickly which make me turn off the ac. During this time, the condenser fan does not come on. Other times, ac works as usual and condenser fan comes on also.
I appreciate for advise on what might be the problem.

Yeah with the condenser fan not working head pressures will increase and the compressor will cycle on and off because the high pressure switch is disabling the clutch in an effort to save the system from blowing up, but the AC wants to work because you have it on so it tries to turn back on again. Fix the condenser fan issues and you will most likely have the problem fixed. It is also worth it check the R134 charge to be sure it is not low.
