Civic 94 sound like a subaru
Okay i have a 94 civic ej2 with a b18b1 it start sound like a subaru last week i change the spark plugs and wire and still sound and cylinder 2 is not firing but it has compression. Also my timing is off so maybe that could be the problem and i have CEL #8 which is the TDC sensor but what you guys think could be?
P.S also idle rought and the rpm is under 1k on neutral

How much compression do you have on all cylinders because i had the same setup in my 90 hatch and it was a bad valve in my same exact cylinder
Also just to add that if your timing is off it is theoretically possible that a valve may be damaged the easiest way to get your timing perfect is to insert a small allen wrench into the holes above the camshaft holder right near the camgears and that way your cams will always perfect and just make sure you have enought tbelt tension.

Looking forward to more from this because I have the same issue.
One of my cylinders isn't firing and has compression. Have you checked for spark and fuel?
My compression on a B16 was closer to 210 across all cylinders. Not sure if the B18B just has lower compression.
