Default Horn and SRS issues...

Hi Guys,

Been trying to sort out my 96' Del-Sol for its MOT.

The guy before me has made a nightmare out of the horn wiring at the steering column, it has an aftermarket wheel and three wires just dangling near it... two grey (assuming SRS?) and one blue wire which sounds the horn when grounded.... Where should this blue wire be attached to to activate when the button is pressed on the horn??

Second problem.

The SRS light is constantly on due to the aftermarket wheel...ive placed a 2.2ohm 0.25w carbon resistor between the two grey SRS wires and tried to reset the light using the guide on here and the touching wires in the MEZ connector making the light flash. But it won't cancel the light? Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

^^ here is a link i saved a lil while back.. it is DIY to wire up your horn with a aftermarket hub and steering wheel. hopefully this will shed some light on how to take care of your wires for the horn..
