Damn Seat-Belts. My seatbelt is a little sluggish on the return. Once in a while it will hang out the door and cause a ruckus, pissing me off. What to do? Replace the WHAT? Little help please.

I like seat belts.

Also, Honda replaces them for free in the USA if it's in crappy enough condition.

Are you serious??? I never knew that!! I need my seat belt tensioners replaced! Every manufacturer should have a lifetime warranty on seatbelts, and nondeployed airbags as well!

Yea, but what you think is in bad shape and what honda thinks is bad shape could possibly be 2 different things.

I honestly don't see why people don't use their seat belts? I've never driven a car without putting it on, or sat in the front seat of a car with it off. Its just like second nature and when I don't do I get that "somethings weird or out of place" feeling. Is it because they don't feel cool or the seat belt is blocking their bulging pecks and 6 pack abs and the chicks would never check out a guy with a seat belt on? Now I'm not so good about using them in the backseat but I rarely ride with people so maybe that's why.

The usual excuse I hear is because they grew up not wearing them, and it feels "weird", or it just isn't "cool". Kind of like all the idiots out there who ride around with one hand on top of the steering wheel and the other on the shifter. Functionally useless, borderline dangerous, but it's what they always did because it looked cool, and now it's just how they drive.

Orange, I'm not sure how that has absolutely anything to do with seatbelts. At all. In any way.

go to the Honda dealer. They have a lifetime warranty on the seat belts and if they are damaged they will typically replace them at no cost.

Pretty sure that guy would have been in a world of trouble if he had been restrained. Obviously it's much safer to wear your seat belt.

I'll speak up. I'm one of these guys that don't wear their seatbelts as often as they should. I'm not in the habit of doing it, I thought I was cool when I was 16 and I guess it stuck. I have been in serious accidents without it and came out unharmed. I wish I would have had some consequences earlier on because it would be easier for me to get in the habit. Sometimes I think about buying a newer car that will ding at you if you don't wear it, or something annoying enough to get myself in the habit of doing it.

TL;DR - I don't wear my seat belt because I'm an idiot and it's not a habit for me.
