ARP head studs help d16z6??? studs not flush with each other..
Help installing my arp studs.
i threaded my arp studs by hand tight on my d16z6 block. they say hand tightened. the bolt holes look very clean i threaded it a while ago.
i used the allen socket key to try thread the arps some more to insure to get it all flush?? they all feel bottomed out.
why is it that like one sits higher than the other studs. why are that like the back side of the engine like one studs sit higher than the other. one near the vtec solenoid area.
also most of the other studs are not all flush?
do i use arp lube on the threads??? goes to the block?
need help
why are some studs are not even flush with each other...
wtf?
also how do i do this.

yes it's normal the one near to the corner of the vtec solenoid it's longer. The other ones have to sit flush and once you throw the head all stick out the same length cause the z6 head have this corner a little raised.
i got the arp studs second hand from craigslist but never been used. the guy i bought it from lost the instructions. he sold it because he bought the wrong ones.
okay why are some of the other bolts still not linned up flush some is a little higher like atleast four bolts or the whole outer ends and some bolts in the back. wtf???
they are all not looking flush???
only like some which bolts supposed to not be flush??? something feels not right.
do i need to clean it with a tap and die? what tap and die Size is the right size for the honda bolts.

INcredible! Then how do you know what torque specs to use? Hand tight only at first. If the head isn't even on the block yet then I don't see why you're panicking.
of how my aprs sits on my engine.
RED stud is the highest stud. no doubt near the VTEC solenoid like everyone else says.
the Blue/Green studs are all same. height just looking at it and even like eye level.
but the ones in the green are slightly higher than the blue studs??
only like a 1/2 of a mm. about???
when putting a flat edge straight edge across the studs that are colors green/blue.
i think its normal is it??
i pretty much bottomed out the studs and same i cant go any lower with the other studs. ?????
is it supposed to sit like that?

I guess you don't like following directions nor recognizing patterns. Put the damn head on and torque to spec as outlined by ARP.
