A tribute to a Stolen R ...for FyrFtr (Greg)
You all may or may not know this but FyrFtr's (greg's) integra type r was stolen last year. I was browsing my "My Pictures" folder this morning and realized i never fully paid tribute this wonderful car.
There wasnt any thing amazing done to Greg's car. Springs and Nice Sounds System. But what was unique was that his car was #178 and mine....#179. Like Greg I had bought my ITR used from someone in the DC Metro Area. Him and I met through the ITRCA, and have been friends since. #178, and #179 have had some great times together...from early morning drives to car shows to partying down here at UVA. Once I was on a date and when I came out there was a note on my car telling me that the two bros were happy to be reunited once again. Luckily my date was as into cars as I am and thought it was cool (Got some *** that night...Thanks Greg
)
It was sad when i found out #178 was gone. It hit home especially for me. But despite all the risk of owning an R i do nor ever will regret owning one. And I'm sure greg will be happy to tell you the same thing.
So Here's to a Great Car and a Great Friend
Here they are in all of their glory...#178 and #179 (Please pay no attention to the GHEY .com letters on this pic...i took it off that website...I have no digi cam)
I think greg has some better pictures of this show...maybe he'll post'em for old times sake.
#179(mine) is on the left and #178(greg's) is on the right.
Thanks for your two minutes h-t guys...i'll be sure to read your random topics too
edit : got rid of the sign and the liscense plate

It's always sad to see an R go.... these are limited edition high performance vehicles... and to have some anonymous thief just steal one is just sad... don't know about most of you, but my car is dear to me... I treat it as if it were a person..... you treat it well.. it'll treat you will... I'd choose my car over almost anything anyday of the week....

Good grief Andrew.
That was damn nice.
Thanks alot man.
So, when are we gonna hang out again? I need to come down & pillage UVA of it's finest hotties.
Yes, I miss my car. And I regret (due to my busy work schedule & living arrangements @ the time) not being able to hang out w/ Daly, Rguy, & 97 Type-R 312 (Andrew, Brian, & Victor) among others more often. I also regret never taking her to her home, on the track, where she belonged. I planned on doing that this past summer. Someday though, I will 0wn another ITR. Maybe it'll be a DC5, maybe a DC2. Who knows. It'll be whatever I can afford as a 2nd car when I have a place w/ a garage. She will be a garage queen and a track ***** at the same time.
Thanks again Andrew.

Buaaaahahahahaha!
I didn't even want to bring it up. I somehow knew you would see this post Victor, & I remember just how pissed you were. Not to mention how shocked we were that he won it.
Rest assured Victor, we know that you are the "numba wan Jay Dee EM *****"

I remember Victor had your wheels for this event george. I also remember the judge drooling all over ceas' car for some odd reason, he kept looking in the interior which consisted of two usdm ITR seats and....uh yeah thats all he had in the car. meanwhile victors car with all sorts of JDM trinkets in it got passed over, he musta thought it was just an accord or something.

:tears: man, that was touching.... hehe. i guess the R is like part of the family. hopefully ill get to have an R sometime.
