Default help! f22b2 steady oil leak.

Hello I have a 97 accord. It has a steady oil leak looks like it is c oming from around the filter. II just changed the oil and installed new filter and it is still leaking. I dont have a jack to get underneath to see for sure what the issue is. Any ideas?

If it has a oil cooler, it's probably the o-ring behind that, common failure. And if you don't know what or where the oil cooler is, it's what the filter screws on to.

None of the F series motors came equipped with OEM oil coolers.

only you can find where the oil leak is coming from, we can only give you places where it might be leaking from.
idk how those engines are set up, but if its leaking from the filter and its not the filter, then ill have to be something above the filter that's dripping on it and going down around it.

youll have to visually inspect it to see where its coming from.
are the oil pressure sensors above the filters on those engines?

technically the f22a6 is the only f series accord/prelude motor to have an oil cooler

Could be oil pressure switch, located above the filter.

It was the pressure switch. Thanks guys. Cheap easy fix. No oil cooler on this model.
