D15b2 , what size mm is fan switch sensor on back of block ???
need to get a fan switch sensor from junkyard one of these days and ive got a 19mm socket but I dont think thats big enough. 22mm deep socket ??? 24mm ???? trying to take it out of the block from overhead with alternator removed. Thanks !
I just used a 27mm wrench. If you use a socket it will have to be a deep well.
Edit: I believe there are 2 on the back of the block. I'm talking about the larger 2 prong switch. If it's the smaller one you need let me know and I'll go check for you.

Its the one slightly up and to the left of the oil filter. about 4 " underneath the intake manifold.
the other one on the back of the block is the oil pres sensor I believe, and the other two coolant temp sensors are on the tranny side of the head. one for the ECU to know coolant temp and one for the gauge.

Yeah, that's correct. The coolant temp sensors are under the distributor and the fan switch is the larger 2 prong sensor on the back of the block. Should be a 27mm
