okay so the wires in that back of my idle control plug have fell out and it was running rough had a surging idle. so i got a new one. tryed to put it in and it was worse... it surged at really high rpms like 3 to 4 grand. so i turned it off and tryed swiching the wires, tyred to start it and it will only crank. any suggestions would be highly appreiated. anything involed with the idle control that would cause it not to start or spark???? it is a 99 honda accord ex 4cyl 5 speed..

 

did any check engine lights come on?

 

yes but it was already on from running it without the idle control. so what i have done so far is found out it has no spark to the wires. checked the cap rotor and coil and all are good. (even tryed to replace the coil) and still nothing. i am going to see if i get anything to the coil b/c i did not check. but say i don't. anything else i should be looking for?? or is there anything related between the idle control and spark??

 

no relation between the iacv and spark, it should be sparking regardless.
are the teeth on the dributor broken or damaged,
any blown fuses?
and only cel for the iacv right?
