OK in a couple weeks im going to get a b16a longblock and take the head, ETC off and sell the bare block, then I was thinking ITR pistons and new eings, will the rest of the bottom end be OK, or should I get new bearings to be safe? how about the rods, can I just shot peen them to make sure they will hold up? my car is an ls with 110k, BUT it was a single owner since 93 and the car is in GREAT condition (no dents, perfect paint, spotless interior), so it obviously wasnt driven hard.

 

Make sure to take everything down to a machine shop and get everything checked out. DOnt take any chances especially with LS VTEC.
