Yea I read it but not really sure exactly how u align them if there off..I took off the timing belt from the cam by loosening the tensioner but I'm not removing the entire timing belt

if the only thing you did was to remove the belt from the cam then you should be able to get it to line up again without pulling the entire belt....but if you can't then you're going to need to pull the entire belt and redo it but i think you knew that already...do it the right way and don't be lazy about it

That sucks ..is it possible to rotate the crank pulley to tdc with the belt off the cam then when I got the crank lined up I can slide the belt back on the cam so there both at tdc?

here's how i got my crank pulley bolt out on my old cb7 rust bucket (RIP)

1: i soaked the bolt with pb blaster for a good week

2: ended up jacking the car up high enought that i could get under it freely

3: using a chain wrench (the honda tool would work well for this too) i locked the crank in place physically

4: i put a short 17mm 1/2" socket on my ratchet, grabbed my core support with my hands and used my whole body weight to force the crank pulley bolt to break free.

this is after trying to use a breaker bar, electric impact gun, extensions would just flex and twist... the shop that did the timing belt before must have used like 300psi to torque that sob on
