2007 CRV convert to 4wd...what's needed?
Let's skip all the "just buy the 4wd model" crap, considered it, and this is the better way to go for me. Parts can be had for ~$1500 that I know of.
I already know I'd need the rear diff and axles, looks like the hubs on the 2wd are the same, and obviously I'd need the 4wd trans and I'm assuming there's a built-in t-case or bolt-on t-case, as well as driveshaft.
My question is, what else is needed? Is there a separate 4wd control module? Or does it require the 4wd ECU with a separate harness?
Anyone have any ideas?
Or access to an '07 factory manual would be greatly appreciated.

The transfer case bolts onto the tranny, so you need that as well. You will most likely need the computer for a AWD one, also depending on where the exhaust sits, you'll need to change that up to.
I wouldn't think you'd need a different ECU just to go RT-AWD. 07 models are still mechanical just like the previous gens and it's certainly not like Acura's SH-AWD
Good point, but wouldn't it still need some sort of trigger from the ABS sensors to note wheelspin?
Either way, wife talked me into buying her a pilot, so we got a pilot 4x4. Just when I thought I'd get off cheap spending ~2 grand on an AWD conversion..............lmao.
