Not sure if this the right section but I need a mechanic in Bakersfield CA that can come to my house and take out the broken one and install the new one. Have a budget of $100. Local mechanic who has good prices charging $120 but he wants me to tow the car to his shop. Charging me $90 for the towing lol. Thanks in advance

 

How far away is the shop? You dont have road side assistance or any friends with AAA? If they are with you at the time, they can get your car towed so many miles for free. I dont think your going to find a professional mechanic that will come to your house. Not a bad business idea... Might find someone willing to do it for you but not likely to be a professional and you have to hope he knows what he is doing.

 

I wish I had AAA lol. It's like 12 miles or something like that. But there are no near mechanic shops I can push the car too lol. I found someone on Craigslist who goes to your home and fixed cars for cheaper but he's out of town currently. Was hoping maybe someone here lives out there and can help me out lol
