I dont have a h22a, but ill give you some advice. The H series ringlands are weak and they are the first thing that tend to go to hell while boosting our motors. I do not recommend boosting above 8psi on a properly tuned stock motor. On my h23a setup i run darton sleeves, JE 9:1 pistons and i run 15psi of boost right now. Ive been running it for 1500 miles with zero problems since i had it dyno tuned.

i've got golden eagle sleeves and je 10:1 compresion pistons, and i plan to be seeing about 12psi daily. with proper tuning, i SHOULD have zero problems

So you went with 10:1? Hmm I'm trying to decide 9 vs. 10....I just don't want my performance to suck before I put the turbo on

ok, to be honest, the only reason i got 10 to begin with is b/c i was shipped the wrong ones, and i didn't reaslize this till after i had them balanced. but then after doing a little research, i realized that i would be better off with them, and it would still be perfectly safe for the engine. some kind of formula, if you drop the compression, yo uhave to run like 3.5 more lbs of boost to make up for it or something like that. besides that, with all the engine work i've got done, 10:1 should be just fine

Hmmn nice info, but what other parts are you guys using.. Rings? Rods? What size pistons?? Was anything overbored?? Ya know **** like that..

I will probably go turbo in 2 years so any good info is useful... Maybe sooner if I get rich..
