I bought a axle for my 02 accord coupe and I guess I ordered 2 cause 2 arrived does it matter whether it goes on the right or left? Also I have the same coupe but a 94 would this fit on it?
Go to any parts store website and right down the part numbers for the left axle for your car and the right axle for your car. If they are the same numbers, they will work on either side. If the part numbers are different, then they are side specific. Do the same for a 94 accord. If the numbers are the same and they match up with the numbers you wrote down earlier then they are interchangeable with the two cars you mentioned. This is what I do to determine if one will fit another car, etc.
Need more info.
V6 or 4 cylinder
Manual or automatic
If it's automatic 4 cylinder, the driver's side is going to be a lot longer than the passenger side.
If it's a manual 4 cylinder, the driver's side is a little more than half an inch longer than the passenger side.
V6 auto and manual use the same axles, but the driver's side is 1/2" longer than the passenger side.
