Default Pressing wheel bolts; shop or attempt myself?

I have 10 mm spacers that require pressing out the lug bolts and pressing in the new longer bolts. Is this a job that should be left to the experts or should I get a $69.00 Harbour Freight press and go for it?

DIY for the rear for sure. Pulling the front hubs is a pain though and depending on what it costs I'd let a shop do it.

Yeah, not crazy about the hub part but I'm mostly concerned about messing up the bolts or stripping the metal where it is pressed in. If I can save $100.00 it would be worth it.

Pressing them in isn't difficult. If you can get the front hub out you'll have no issue.

So, use the shop manual under hub removal?

When I change out the fronts I don't pull the hub. I actually grind down the hub just a hair and can squeeze the studs in and out.
