ferrea competition valves and supertech dual spring kit combination???
Hey honda-tech.
I allready use a integra type r cylinder head b18c6 in my b16 turbo engine block.
with integra type r cams b18c6
Integra type r b18c6 valves
And Supertech 85lbs dualsprings with titanium reteiners
And b18c6 valve locks.
Can i use ferrea competition super alloy valves #F1448P and #F1449P
With supertech dualvalve springs ,supertech titanium reteiners, b18c6 cams and b18c6 valve locks??
Someone told me that i cant combine these parts and i need ferrea springs too. Is that true??

I'm not so certain about this but to my common sense all valve were specifically design as all stock valve are at the tip where the keeper lock in, the different would only be the material it made by, the coating, the size, the length, and it either dish or flat face. someone pls correct me if I'm wrong.
from what your friend say he could mean that because of the length of the valve, the pressure of the spring, and the type of cam your using would not make a good combination. but idk i just copy ppl i buy what ever they have that prove to work for them. all supertech for me there good price and get the job done.

i believe that too....
but i need someone to told me whats going on bcs i can cancel the order of ferrea valves or change them with supertech.
if there was any problem with diferenses between ferrea and oem honda,
Ferrea as a company at least must told to customers that.
i cant find anything.... about diferences... but i need to someone told me that 100%

I dont see why it would matter. Spring acts upon the retainer. The retainer holds the valve. Usually the degree of the valve needs to match the valve in regards to the keepers (locks) but Ive never heard of any requirements of spring vs valve. Cams usually dictate spring specs not valves.
i wrote the entire setup to be sure..
i think the discuss is about ferrea competition valves with supertech titanium retainers and oem valve locks combination...
i found one person that said he bought ferrea valves and he already had supertech dualvalve springs and ti retainers kit and he cant match them...he have some problem.... i dont know why...but i erdered these ferea valves and i thought its better to ask here.. to be sure !
