SSSHHHing sound....
Finally got the wheel bearings figured out! It was both the front ones that were gone (on a 2000 Accord 2Dr 4cyl 5spd). Got it back from the dealer today and there's another weird sound!
When you have the car out of gear (doesn't matter if it's moving or not) and rev the engine, everything sounds fine. If you are moving and have the car in gear and press the gas you hear this quiet ssshhh, like someone makes a sound to quiet somebody. It's not very apparent under 50, but from about 60 on you can really notice it.
It's gotta be something with the tranny?!? What do you guys think?

out of gear and moving it doesn't make the sound
the sound is hard to explain. hmm, if you blow through your teeth, thats what it sounds like.
It might be the windshield 'cause we had that replaced, but when the car is out of gear and moving it doesn't make the sound.
Any ideas of what it could be?

no sound & moving....most def. not the windshield. Take the car back and complain. Tell them it distracts you from driving and its really aggravating. I know it's a bitch but if it happened right after you had them do it, it should be covered in any labor/parts warranty that their shop should stand by. Bring your receipt. Have the guy sit with you while YOU drive it and show him the conditions.
