Heya'll

Ok so my GF's civic died on the freeway... lost power and she pulled it over, she said she didn't hear any loud noises from the motor. 210k miles. Manual tranny.

Prior to this, the car was showing a p0420 (Catalytic converter?) which showed up a couple months earlier. About 2 years ago I had to shell out $1500 to fix a p0420 error by replacing the CAT (California fail).

Now the car is showing a p1362 as well. TDC Sensor

AND... the starter is not engaging the flywheel. The starter spins nice and loud but doesn't even seem to touch the flywheel/engine.

Also note the oil did seem kinda low when we had it towed to the house. I topped it off.

Any ideas on why the flywheel isn't cranking same time the car died w/ a p1362?

I fear that if I swap the tdc sensor that it wont fix the starter issue

The issue with the starter could be coincidental.

 

Hey thanks for the info. I've done plenty of searches but none of them had a starter issue at the same time.

That's what was confusing, that would be a hell of a coincidence.
