Default OBD2B B16A2 into 92 VX swap questions

I for the most part understand how to do this swap. I just have a few questions that i couldn't find definite answers to here on the web.

In reference to the wiring of the motor itself;

Can I use the Z1 (vx) engine harness for the swap? I know that the VX is pre-wired for vtec so does that mean I plug in the sensors to their respective locations and i'll be fine?

Also could someone elaborate on which set of injectors i'll need to use? Ones from the Bseries or ...?

And what needs to be done with the O2 sensor? Could someone please explain.

Thank you.

the harness will work. but you may have a couple sensors that isnt on the harness. the dizzy plugs will be different and i believe the OBD2 has a crank position sensor and a knock sensor. which i dont believe are on that harness. you will need to run OBD1 injectors. i cant remember if all the O2 sensors are the same. when i say the same i mean the plug. if so you can use the one off the d series. you can use the b series or d series OBD1 injectors. they are the same. what ecu are you going to run?? chipped P28 or run a jumper harness for the OBD2??

I'm using the OBD2 dizzy with a jumper harness. I also have a P28 that I plan on chipping and getting a tune on.

I've heard the VX injectors are different from the Bseries & Dseires (DX/EX/SI) injectors. That's what I'm pretty confused about.

Vx(Z1) and cx(b8)injectors are "smaller" than the others which are (240cc) vx & cx something like 180-190cc something like that. I built a cx 8 valve motor so I know that they are smaller. Your O2 sensor plug might be different since the vx harness is for a 5 wire(actually called a 7 wire but actually only has 5 wires) not a 4 wire so google info on how to convert. The distributor plug on the obd2 b16 dizz is different you will need a obd-1 dizz or a conversion "harness"-obd2 to obd1.

I swapped a obd2 b18c into my vx, all I had to do was wire a knock sensor and.swap two wires on the shock tower. I didnt think the b16a was such a huge difference.

Were you running an OBD1 or OBD3 ecu?

Also do you remember what you did & to which wires??

Mostly plug and play. VTEC plug and play. Knock sensor will not be used for the P28 ECU but will for all others. To use the A2/C1/C5 distributor you will need an OBD2A or OBD2B to OBD1 adapter harness. The intake air temperature sensor is not located on the intake manifold of the A2 so you will need to relocate your IAT sensor in the intake arm (see pic). Reuse the Z6 injectors as the A2/C1/C2 will not plug in correctly. For the VX you will need to use some EX/SI/DX injectors for similar A2 flow rates. You will need to use an OBD1 B series alternator for plug and play. CKF sensor by the crank on the A2/C1/C5 will not be used tie it out of the way. For the VX model use the above instructions to convert the 5 wire O2 to 4 wire (diagram here http://www.hybridautomotive.com/tech/o2/).
