I bought my em1 salvaged. The cluster it came with was from an older civic like this one.

I've been told that if i got the OEM Si cluster, my car would have more power since it would go up to 9k rpms. Would it make a difference?

Cluster's are just displays, they don't modify the car's power whatsoever, they just read the power.
