Default My civic hatch build(s)

This will be for both my 1992 and 1994 hatchback builds. The 1992 is my baby and overall clean car. I bought her stock, and began to slowly clean her up and try to return the car to OEM. The second hatch is my 94 and basically because of the color I plan to build this one for speed so that I can have my clean show car, and the one to have all of my fun in. Overall it will probably be a slow process but I will post pics of the changes so far.

She started out stock with no cargo cover or bra. The seats were all pleather and torn. I have bought new oem civic floor mats. The hood bra, and finally found a clean cargo cover. I just do not have pics of these yet.

Overall it has been about a year and 6 months since I first bought her.

This was a few days after I bought her.

Spent some time cleaning her up and made a few changes.

And this is where she sits currently. I had to raise the car back up to stock height as a officer decided he did not like how low I was and gave me enough tickets and a nice threat of towing my car to keep me from going back down for a while.

The seats are now a cloth I completely removed the pleather from the front and rear seats, but this is soon about to change.

This is my 1994 hatch. This has a b16 motor with a gsr trans. The body is not in as good a shape as the black one which is why I have decided to go for the track route. With the horrid green color I expect many will not take the car seriously which is what I am hoping for.

This is the interior of the green one, and the interior that will be going into the black Honda. The black Honda has a very clean grey interior so I plan on just swapping.

If anyone could tell me what those rear seats came out of. I would appreciate it. I am not entirely sure as I have not seen those before with the cloth inset and leather around.
And this is the motor I plan on working on. I may pick up a second just to build, and drop in I have not completely decided yet.

And that is where I am at so far with both Hondas. I have begun to swap the interiors with the door panels swapped already. Hoping to have the entire interior swapped in a month in time for Honda day in New Jersey. I may also slam the car back down for the show even though I enjoy how it looks right now.

A very very big cop magnet. May end up spraying it another color just to avoid that problem. Right now it blends in and matches my trashcan behind it. (was not planned nor am I happy with that haha)

Besides the wheels choices...and the green ones engine bay needing alot of work, looks like a decent start

OMG, it seriously does match the refuse can! hehe

Well depending on where you are going with your build, it might be fun to leave it green with the volume **** on 11. You mentioned track - if you road course race a bright color can be helpful.

What is the deal with getting a too low ticket? Your car did not appear to be in the weeds unless it was even lower than you showed it.

The green Honda's rims will be going in a heartbeat. I know I can trade them off for a nice clean set due to how wide they are. The black Honda I absolutely love the rims. After trying a few sets they were the ones that made the car pop to me.

An yeah the green one is not the prettiest she will need work, but so did the black one when I first started, but that's fine with me. I enjoy cleaning the cars up from what they once were.

It wasn't that low. I have friends who were lower then I was when I got the ticket. He was just having a bad day, and I got the brute force of it. She will be going back down soon I am not worried about him anymore.

An exactly I am going to enjoy the color while I can just getting weird reactions from others at the track. Plan on taking her down to the drag strip soon just to get an idea of where she will run as is, and go from there. Not sure if I would do road course, but hey anything is possible.

Get the correct battery tie down before going to the track. They will most likely deny you...

B16a1 if I remember correctly from when I looked at her. Been a few states across working for the past two weeks so I have not gotten to do to much to that car just yet. Bought her and left for work pretty much.

Yeah I definitely got one, but I decided it was time to get ready for Honda day and went back down. I fell in love with her once more. I think it made a huge difference. I am ready now for Sunday.

Also completed my interior swap so the black interior is in this black hatch. Plus I misspoke earlier my motor in the green Honda is a B16a2.

When you said b16a1, I scratched my head for a second. Was thinking, no way this dude has the 150 hp edm b16. Lol

haha yeah I was just going off what I could remember. I know I do have a buddy with that motor. Just its matchd with a ls trans right now. He has a b16 trans waiting to be put in, and then is going to tune it. Cant wait to see that thing go.

^Dont expect much....unless he has done some work to it to make it more like the sir2 motor. Can only imagine how turdly slow that thing has to be with a ls trans mated to it. Even my sir2 ej6 with ls trans is a turd. But great commuter car at least. b16b hatch is my fun car though.

Well the green car ended up being used for many parts and the motor. Took her on the road and cops had me pulled over twice and I caught a few more glares then I would have liked. So the black beauty now has a new Heart in the form of the B16a2, and I should have it boosted by the end of this winter.

I still am not done with the engine bay. This is my daily driver currently so it was a full day swap, and I did not have time to shave, tuck, paint, but I am very happy with it. Also added the BYS Carbon Kevlar spoiler which I know has very mixed opinions, but when I enter her in car shows. I needed something to stand out. Have the Kevlar tailgate sitting in my room, but I will be waiting until spring to put that on. Hope yall enjoy and I will post again when I do the next big change to her.

Newest update is coming a bit quicker then I expected. I found a steal of a deal for the EG6 Gathers interior. Saved myself a grand, but I do need the brackets mainly the lower bar for the seats. I have read that they can be made, and even some vendors on here would know about this. Anyone know anything about the brackets an bar.

This alone would be enough motivation for me to move to a different state. I am so glad we don't have issues like that here in NC.

It was a major setback to me, and honestly put my car back about six months. Thankfully I found at the time a better interior and from there its history. Newest update for my baby. An its a fairly good one haha.

Installed my imported EG6 Rear interior with the Gathers speaker covers.

Then bought this VTI cluster. Took a few days to learn to quickly convert KM/H to Miles per hour down the highway but well worth it.

Then I bought these rare optional hatchback door sills. One of my favorite things so far

Then I found this Radio at a local Junkyard and had to save it. Along with my eg6 clock and VTI cluster again.

This is a pic of some goodies I just put on for the latest car show. My Real Carbon Fiber Spoon duckbill is in the process of being renewed with a new clear coat. In the works of putting another order in for Skunk2 which will include a new Billet Spark plug cover, rear Skunk2 strut bar, and fender washers with a few more things.

An this was the result of my hard work through this winter. Out of around 35 cars including the ones pictures. I took home best import which made everything worth it.
The plaque laying on the SI was for Best Team which our crew Team NVuS took home.
