it's a bit of a read but i need some help here.
i attached a few picture to give you an idea of the damage.

i have a '95 del sol and the vehicle was in a collision, my wife rear ended another car and it bent the core support. the hood will close but not all the way, its open similar when you pull the latch release on the inside to pop the hood. today i went out to pick n pull and got a new latch, put it on and because this latch wasn't bent it doesn't line up and the hood will not close at all. so i put the old one back on for now. it's obvious that the core support needs to be pulled out about an inch forward. i don't have anything to pull it so should i get my hands on a come along and use that to pull out the support or cut that top cross member and weld a new on in or replace the whole radiator core support? i've never welded before and don't know anybody with a welder. i need to keep costs to a minimum, i can't afford to take it to a shop, besides i hear a shop wouldn't do that kind of repair.

 

Check the lower Core support member. I think Honda calls the entire thing a forward bulkhead. If the base is good, you can order just the top sdections from Honda and replace. They are spot welded in so there are no good answers, just good luck!
BTW, Mine was much worse and Im in the middle of a serious front end re-do. chk my thd. in this section.
