Default installing a resistor in 1898 Cr-x SI

My old tech guy in CA told me that i need to change the resistor when all of them blow out(1 and 2 were out before and i moved to MD and now 3 and 4 stop working)

I went to a shop to ask how much it costs to install a new resistor and fan together, i was told $150.

I am thinking to install a resistor that i bought by myself

I was looking through a manual of Cr-x, and i could not find it.

Where the resistor i can find in my car? is it under the hood? under the passenger dash board? or anywhere else?

it would be really great if it is shown on pictures.

thanks!

I assume that your talking about the a/c fan not the cooling fan?? Crx wasn't made in 1898 lol if they were i'd want one.

If you mean the interior blower fan the resistor plate is in the housing so the moving air can cool the resistors, they are normally all on one plate with a connector plug for the harness

thanks hondacrx. although the link did not display pictures, the step and location of resistor were very useful. I will try to look it tomorrow morning.

It's directly on the blower held in with 2 screws. You can get it new from Honda for about $30 and install takes 5 minutes!

do you mean the AC fan under the hood, or the interior blower fan, the interior fan has nothing to do with the underhood fan
