Ok-- I am fairly proficient in Honda and mechanical work in general. I have a 98 Civic DX coupe I got for free dollars and zero cents. I plan to make this car into a daily driver, and I happen to have a very low mileage d15z1 swap collecting dust. I know I need to use an ek engine harness, mounts, jumper harness and my p07, etc... my questions are in wiring. The z1 has a 5 wire o2 and vtec. I need to know how to wire the o2 and vtec into the ek's harness. Thanks in advance.

PS- save the hate talk on the z1, its a neat little motor that gets 50+ fwy mpg.

 

It gets that much in a light hatch not a coupe but anyways, you'll have to wire it directly into the P07 along with the egr system as well.

 

ill get it light. coupe= 2342. vx= 2094. thats only 248 lbs stock for stock. dx is already minus ac due to theft and will not be going back in(~40lbs). steelies are being swapped for hx wheels (-25lbs/4), etc etc. that leaves me with a 183 lb difference without getting nutty. itll be close. thanks for the reply, keep em coming.
