car cranks and fires with starter fluid but has no fuel presure was reading and looking for fuse 14 and 37 from some past posts i read and one i brought back from the dead

 

Check ALL fuses.

Is this a swap? DPFI to MPFI? If so, check ALL of your wiring.
OBD-0? If so, make sure the ECU blinks (once) when you turn the key to the 'run' position.
Check your grounds! Double check the one on the thermostat

 

Does voltage reach the fuel pump connector? Does the black wire in the fuel pump connector have good ground?

 

brand new pump it primes
herd afunny noise last night checked all fuses and grounds and yes well grounded at the pump was thinking bout jumping the ignition wire to the fuel pump on aswitch and some how using a 15 a fuse ,,would that be cool ,,

 

this is not a swap this is all crx91 si original parts ,,d16 not sure the rest i could see there just does not seem to be fuel presure does the tank have to be half way full pump seemed in good shape i sprayed under coat all over the new fuel tank and lil on top where previous one ,,i pulled in to get gas filled up cause i practically ran empty and when i went to start it ,it just would not start it cranks fires with starter fluid there just aint no presure in the line ,,i have checked all grounds when i put the hood up i notciced the tranny ground was loose almost off

 

yeah i checked thermostat and it seems to be grounded well ,,was gonna move that to the frame instead of making it go throu the engine and clean it up ,,i put the car on jumper cables from my civic and have the civic running i keep trying and trying the battery starts to go dead the fuel filter gas tank fuel pump have all been replaced as well as the relay

 

Do all 4 injectors spray fuel when you crank the engine? Do all 4 injector clips have battery voltage? Any CEL codes?

 

i was gonna check for codes first i guess its a white clip i connect with a paper clip and then turn the car on and watch the blinks to determin the number ,,the white clip not conected to any thing and there is no fuel spitting out the blow off in the filter or before it gets there no presure but i hear the pump prime

 

figured if all else fails on the relay point number 7 and 5 get put together 5 being ignition and maybe put a switch and possibly 15 amp fuse whats the amp rating on the pump to tst the pump make sure its not that and no codes just blinks once then off,,,i ghot it to start thank you every one that helped it was the pump should of tested it better before i put it in ,,,all works thank you
