R cams or Crower Vtec/turbo cams???
i bought an R head today..thinkin about going gsr bottom w/sleeves,pistons,rods,and running R head and intake ...should i leave the R cams or get Crower cams for running turbo...i'm gonna run like 20-25psi???
friends dont let friends run crower VTEC cams in their motors. I was like many others who had their cams exploded into 4 exhaust cams, with only acknowledgement from Crower that they have had problems with that, and very little sympathy for my completely destroyed (sleeves and all) motor. They did, however, compensate me with a set of their rods
b16 cams??? i have access to them...my cousin has them and wants my R cams...so are they just as good as gsr cams??? if not is there any aftermarket cams that i can get...cuz i don't know anyone with gsr cams..
i'll find some gsr cams if i have to...my buddy has 94 gsr cams...with 90k miles though...are they still good...and will they work in a newer R head???

Use the R cams, you won't regret it. Even if I'm out voted 100 to 1 on this, keep the R's. They will work great for a high whp application.

Type r or gsr cams are good for turbo cars.
