obd0-obd1 help
Alright I need help quick. Short story, I got a build from a buddy and he gave me an obd0 mpfi conv. harness and I need the dpfi. Question is what would I need to do to the one I have to make it work for my dpfi? I figure I would just cut the wires for the injectors on the conv harness and run wires straight to the new injectors. Does anyone know if there is any other wires from the mpfi to dpfi that are diff or in diff locations or that I need to move or anything at all? Thanks for the help
Ya I've been searching for a while now but every thing I find the people apparently have diff opinions on which wires go where and dont seem to know how the plugs are even numbered so I dont know who I can rely on without accedently pinning in something in the wrong spot and blowing things up.
Let me get this straight -
You want to run an OBD0 to OBD1 harness
Your car is DPFI
If that is the case, then you can use the OBD0 to OBD1 harness no problem.
What you need to do first is a DPFI to MPFI conversion.
TONS of info all over for this.

Take a look at the colors of the wires.
That should help you figure out which way your diagram is viewing the plugs.
For example - C1 (needs to be moved to B10) an orange wire.

Make sure you remember to reverse the wires at the TPS!

OBD0 to OBD1 does not require the TPS wires to swap.
The DPFI to MPFI does.
On a DPFI motor, the TPS is mounted on the opposite side of the throttle body.
Therefore, it rotates the opposite direction than the MPFI TPS does.
Hence, you swap the wires around.
