2000 ITR ABS issues
Hi folks, looking for some help here if possible.
I have a 2000 ITR that has spent most of it's life on the track (road course). As a result, there are quite a few wear and tear items.
I just recently replaced the driver's rear ABS sensor (after pulling the code) and immediately after that, am getting 2 other codes. One for the passenger rear sensor now and another for the module itself (81). This module is the one in the passenger rear location.
Now the sensor itself isn't so bad as it's about $200 but the module is > $1300 I've been told. Can a bad sensor cause the module to get confused and think it's bad as well?
The brakes work just fine but I like my ABS and while I don't abuse it, there are certain times in bumpy/rough spots where the ABS will out brake me.
How often does the module go? Are there any aftermarket solutions and/or other Honda parts that can be used? Is anyone selling one?
Thanks!

I just pulled my entire functioning ABS system out of my car if you're interested. I was eventually going to make a for sale post but you beat me to it. Shoot me a message with your phone number and lets see if we can work something out.
id say unplug the sensor see if the faults change. its not unheard of to have a out of range sensor make the ecu think its shorted to power or ground. im not familiar with abs faults so not sure what 81 actually means. make sure the wires and plug are good to the module as well.
Hi guys, thanks for all the recommendations. I shall pass the info on to my mechanic. They did unplug the sensor first to check the code and it still reported a code 8-1.
I'll mention the relays to him and go from there.
