From Miata to S2K
Hello guys,
I'm new to HT. I have been driving a Miata since 2001, and now that business is taking off, I want to upgrade to a S2K. How much should I expect to spend for a yellow S2K with nice shiny wheels and a cool sounding muffler?
Thanks

I usually see them go between 8-20k depending on the condition.
Non-OP,
Does everyone driving a S2000 have to be a Honda junky? Just because you know the nuts and bolts of the car in detail doesn't mean everyone owning one must. Do you feel like your in an elite club exclusive to Honda garage monkeys?

You can replace the car in this statement with any one you'd like and all their forum members would do the same. Doesn't mean we are elite, but, most S2000 owners I know/knew took some pride in their ownership. All the NSX owners I have met so far do the same as well.

All the ones I have seen on craigslist are heavily modified. I don't want to buy something that's likely to have a lot of issues as a result of aftermarket stuff. Is there any aftermarket stuff that in should absolutely avoid?

Honestly op you drive a miata. No gay dudes are allowed to own s2k's.
And btw don't be scared of a highly modified s2k. You don't realize how much power these motors handle bone stock. And still be daily driven, all though at times can be sketchy in the rain, or break second gear..
