fuel cut of really early? and kinda sputtering up to speed
I have a 1990 ef hatch with a ZC block and a D15b head with a dual point :'( lol. I was wondering if the dual point was the guaranteed problem for this. first and second gear end HELLA fast. its not even funny. and the car when i get to higher RPMs trying to gain speed the car kinda sputter. like it was not getting enough gas or something. i am assuming that this is because of the dual point. is there anything else that will cause this and can i make a dual point fast?

You can make DPFI really fast!
All you need to do is convert to MPFI!

I would be worried about that sputter being detonation.

gears end fast? that'd be transmission related...
could be TPS any CEL check the ECU under the pass. floor board
