Spark Plugs Pops Out - Honda Accord 92 LX
I have an 92 Honda Accord LX. Recently the sparks plugs came up on 2 of the 4 sparks plugs on the top of the engine. I drove about 90 miles. I push them down and they pop up again today driving around town. Will driving around with 2/4 spark plugs down cause any harm to my car? Also what do you think could cause this? I have attached picture.
THank You !

What cylinders are they popping out of?
If it's 3 and 4, ok, if it's 1 and 2 = ok.
Be sure to unplug the injectors for those cylinders.
It will drive but it'll drive pretty crappy, also the car will throw codes for this of course.
Check the threads in the head or on the plugs.
Also, your picture did not upload properly.

Are you referring to the spark plug wires that pop up? If so, you have aftermarket wires and need to have NGK wires. Most aftermarket wires don't fit well...

Oh, he meant the wires. Well then...
Yeah, NGK or OEM tends to be your only reasonable option for the accords (also Hondas in general). If you have oem wires check the tensioned clip on the end of the boot and see if they have spread. If so grab some pliers and squeeze them much closer together (carefully). To the point that it takes some small effort to pop onto the plug. You can do this same thing with your aftermarket wires assuming the end has two or more separate "teeth" to connect to the plug.
Also those are cylinders 1 and 2. You always count from the non-principal end of an engine (pully side aka non-transmission side).

I don't really understand how you can say "spark plugs pop out" not just once in the title but also in the message as well. It's obvious it's your spark plug wires that are popping out. If your spark plugs were popping out that would mean the cylinder head threads are stripped and this would be very very bad. Also if your spark plugs were popping out they would shoot out not just pop out.
btw this only happens with cheapie spark plugs, get some NGK or OEM like the others said and that problem goes away.
