P28 throwing CEL but disappears when ignition is turned off.
Hey there guys, I've been having a CEL pop up on my D16Z6 when either:
1. Highway cruising after a while of driving
2. Revving through the RPM range usually done at WOT. Throws it in the high rev range (i.e 6,000-7000rpm)
It stays on until I turn off the ignition which it then goes away meaning I can't pull the code from the ECU to know what it is.
Any ideas as to what it could be or why the ECU isn't storing the code? I've replaced the backup and ECU fuse in the under hold fuse box for certainty even though they were both good yet it still doesn't store the code.
The car is pulling strong but has a bit of a funky idle sometimes if that helps anything.
Any help is appreciated!

Chipped unfortunately. Bought it like that. Probably an eBay chip or something. I'm planning on picking up a S300 in a couple of weeks.
Prob missing something in the tune, I would check the chip over and make sure the settings are correct. More than likely it may have something to do with vtec
I have a feeling that its the o2 sensor saying its lean/rich but I'll find out soon enough. Thanks so far for the help.
Answer is simple: Drive the vehicle until the codes are thrown and leave the engine running when you check the codes.
