getting the most out of my d16z6
Do some maintenance and it will run better. OEM NGK spark plugs, spark plug wire set, distributor cap + rotor, clean the injector baskets and check the distributor ignition timing to see if its where it should be. Once your maintenance is up to par you could benefit from a Hondata S300 and get it tuned. Gains with the Z6 will be hard to achieve without forced induction so while staying NA you could get some aftermarket camshafts + cam gear but what you spend will not be very rewarding power wise. I say just make sure the motor is running good and save for a swap.
There's no such thing as a B22 or a B19a2. Maybe you shouldn't swap anything until you know what you're doing. I suggest any variation of a B16 but that's preference because everyone will go their own route so my suggestion has no substance for you.

H22 requires alot of work... Is a great mltor if your willing to take the time and do it right... I intend to do a b16 swap in my 89 civic... Im lazy to lazy to do the extra work so im sticking with b16 or 18 for sure
