It's an issue that should be addressed.

I wouldn't mind a factory clutch because the current has nearly 162k and still works, but I've always liked the feel of a performance clutch, nothing crazy, I just like a more positive engagement.

Tell me about your experiences and where you bought yours?

Exedy stage 1 organic clutch. Grabs harder than the factory one but still has that OEM feel, currently running one on my Boosted 94 Accord EX Coupe.

The serial number is 08805, comes with a new pressure plate, disc, an alignment tool, grease, and a rad sticker sheet for #madtytejdmracecaryovtecblastedmeintospacebraap

I saw that one and I'm tempted. I'm trying to justify the $280 dollars. The stock replacement is $140.

Well it can easily handle up to 250whp of boost if that makes the price more reasonable. Exedy is a very good company and I've been pleased with them in all experiences. I actually just installed a factory replacement Exedy clutch in my 03 Mitsubishi Lancer.

Where did you get yours? I'm leaning toward a factory replacement because I won't add much power, but what I'm seeing is this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-CLUTCH-KIT-SET-w-EXEDY-PP-for-90-97-HONDA-ACCORD-97-99-ACURA-CL-2-2L-2-3L-/130912822463?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e7b0324bf&vxp=mtr
Only the pressure plate is made by Exedy...

And this one, but it doesn't clarify anything

Off of Amazon, just google the part number I listed followed by Exedy.

And then I see this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/EXEDY-CLUTCH-PRO-KIT-1990-1997-HONDA-ACCORD-DX-LX-EX-SE-2-2L-SOHC-4CYL-F22-/151029569652?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item232a105874&vxp=mtr
It looks to be a complete Exedy kit with the organic disc?!?!

Even though its not the same number it appears to obviously work for all F/H blocks. Try that.

I thought you liked the feel of the performance clutch? I can't imagine replacing the stock clutch unless you are upgrading, or if it is giving you problems, or you have the trans off for some other reason. You might have another 50k left on that clutch.

If you like the feel you might want to look into using an OEM clutch with an upgraded pressure plate. That will give you the feel you are most likely looking for.

I didn't even think about an upgraded pressure plate, but I went cheap with an oem kit from import replacement parts, good to deal with so far and we as members get a small discount.

Support your local speed shop! If they cant get it to you for less than the interwebs, they dont lile you. I have a local friend works for exedy, so I get a hookup when it comes to perces.
